Hi, my name is George Ramos. I started drawing when I was 4 years old and amazed my folks by how well I did. I was always a comics buff and used to trace the comics in the Sunday Comics Section. As soon as the family would get the paper, I was there asking for the cartoons which was never a problem to get, with the exception of my younger brother who also wanted to see them. But when he was finished, they were all mine!
I guess I have always had a pretty good sense of humor also and when I was in my teenage years, I had also done a few cartoons for one of the local papers. In the service, I was also a cartoonist for awhile, doing a strip for a daily when on tour in Viet Nam. I did a couple for a military magazine called Stars and Stripes also.
Unfortunately, that time spent was short because they needed me for things that were more in line with why we were over there in the first place.
I guess my other love has always been photography. I have been into that for many years as a hobby which turned semi-professional and then somewhat into a professional level, photographing weddings and also portraits.
I hope you enjoy the photographs on my site as much as I have enjoyed photographing them. If you would like a photo of any of them suitable for framing or a digital copy that is high quality 200 dpi, please send me an e-mail.
